Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central part of the UC Berkeley Campus, head towards the main entrance of Sproul Plaza. Once you reach Sproul Plaza, locate the pathway that leads up to the Campanile. Follow the signs or ask a passerby for directions to Sather Tower. The Campanile is on the east side of the campus, and you will need to walk up a gentle slope. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

    If you are further away, you can take the AC Transit bus service. Look for the bus stops near the campus. Routes 51A and 51B stop at the UC Berkeley campus. Note that a one-way fare is approximately $2.50.
