Walking
From the Big Sur Village, walk south along Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). After approximately 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Pfeiffer Beach on your left at Sycamore Canyon Rd. Follow the signs to the beach entrance. Please note that there is a fee to enter the beach. Once inside the park, follow the trail that leads to Pfeiffer Beach. The beach is well-marked, and you will be walking on a sandy path with stunning views of the coastline. After reaching the beach, walk further to the west side where you will find Keyhole Arch, which is a distinctive rock formation that allows ocean waves to pass through.
