If you're in the center of Big Sur, start at the Big Sur River Inn. Head south along CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway) on the west side of the road. Walk for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes) until you reach the entrance to Partington Cove, which is marked by a small sign on your right. You'll notice a wooden bridge leading into a small wooded area.

From the Big Sur Campground and Cabins, head south along the river trail towards CA-1. Once you reach the highway, turn right and walk north for about 0.3 miles. Look for the entrance to Partington Cove on your left. Follow the path that leads you through a tunnel to the cove.
