Walking
If you are starting from the Big Sur River Inn, head east on CA-1 N (Pacific Coast Highway) for about 0.5 miles. You will see Pfeiffer Big Sur Road on your right. Turn onto Pfeiffer Big Sur Road and continue for approximately 2 miles. You'll pass the entrance to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Keep walking until you reach the Redwood Deck area, which will be located on your left. The hike is beautiful with towering redwoods lining the path.
Biking
From the Big Sur Station, start by heading north on CA-1 N for about 0.8 miles. Look for Pfeiffer Big Sur Road on your right; turn onto this road. Continue biking for about 2 miles. You will pass by scenic views and eventually arrive at the Redwood Deck area on your left. Make sure to take your time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
