Walking
Start from the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Head south on San Carlos Street towards 7th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street and walk until you reach the junction with CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway). At this point, you will see signs for Palo Corona Regional Park. Carefully cross the highway (be mindful of traffic) and continue walking south along the shoulder of CA-1. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Palo Corona Regional Park on your right.

Biking
If you have a bicycle, start at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Head south on San Carlos Street, then take a right onto 7th Avenue. Follow 7th Avenue until you reach Mission Street, then turn left. Continue on Mission Street until you reach CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Carefully cross the highway and follow the bike lane south along CA-1. The park entrance will be on your right after about 1.5 miles.
