From Castro Valley, walk to the nearest BART station, which is Castro Valley BART. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride the train until you reach the Embarcadero station. Transfer to the Muni metro at Embarcadero and take the T-Third line towards Bayview-Hunters Point. Get off at the 4th and King station. From there, you can catch the Muni bus #30 towards the Marina District. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Lincoln Blvd & Presidio, which is a short walk to the Presidio Tunnel Tops.

Start at Castro Valley BART station. Board the train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the Montgomery St. station. Exit the station and walk to the nearby Muni stop. Take the 43 bus towards Presidio. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Lincoln Blvd & Presidio stop. Walk a short distance to arrive at the Presidio Tunnel Tops.
