    From your location in Chula Vista, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the MTS bus number 705 which travels towards San Diego. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the '12th St & Imperial Ave' stop. From there, transfer to the MTS Green Line trolley at the '12th & Imperial' station. Ride the trolley towards 'Santee Town Center' for about 15 minutes and get off at 'City College' station. Walk north for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards Balboa Park. The San Diego Museum of Art is located at 1450 El Prado.

    Start at the nearest MTS trolley station in Chula Vista. Board the Blue Line trolley heading towards 'America Plaza'. Ride for about 35 minutes until you reach the 'Civic Center' station. From there, transfer to the Green Line trolley at the 'Civic Center' station. Take the trolley towards 'Santee Town Center' for about 10 minutes and get off at 'City College' station. Walk north for about 10 minutes towards Balboa Park. The San Diego Museum of Art will be on your left at 1450 El Prado.

    If you are comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Chula Vista. Start by heading north on 4th Ave towards Downtown San Diego. You can follow the bike lanes along 4th Ave to reach the San Diego Bay. Once you reach the bay, continue along the waterfront bike path towards the north until you reach the 'Coronado Bridge'. Cross the bridge, then follow the signs towards Balboa Park. The San Diego Museum of Art is at 1450 El Prado, which you will find on the eastern side of the park.

    If you are close to the border area, you can walk towards the San Diego Trolley station at 'San Ysidro'. From there, take the Blue Line trolley towards 'America Plaza'.
