Public Transportation

To reach Lake Merritt via public transportation, take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system. Board the BART train heading towards the 'Richmond' or 'Daly City' direction from any East Bay station. From the Oakland International Airport, get on I-880 N from Airport Dr. Continue on I-880 N for about 10 miles, then take the exit toward 16th Ave. Merge onto 16th Ave and turn left onto E 18th St. Continue straight to stay on E 18th St, which will lead you directly to Lake Merritt. Public Transportation
