Transfer to the Route 83 towards 'Santa Ana - Main & 17th.' Stay on for approximately 30 minutes and get off at 'Main & 5th.' Finally, walk to the bus stop for the Route 74 towards 'Silverado Canyon.' Get off at 'Black Star Canyon Rd' which is the closest stop to Black Star Canyon Falls Trailhead.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Huntington Beach. Start by cycling east towards Brookhurst St. Follow Brookhurst St. north until you reach the intersection with Chapman Ave. Take a right turn onto Chapman Ave and continue cycling until you reach the intersection with Jamboree Rd. Turn left onto Jamboree Rd, which will lead you towards Irvine. Once you reach the Santiago Canyon Rd, turn right, and continue cycling until you reach Black Star Canyon Rd. Follow this road until you arrive at the Black Star Canyon Falls Trailhead.

If you are feeling adventurous and have the time, you can walk towards Black Star Canyon. Start from the Huntington Beach Pier and head east on Pacific Coast Hwy. Walk until you reach the intersection with Beach Blvd, then continue north on Beach Blvd until you reach Chapman Ave. Turn east on Chapman Ave and follow it until you reach Jamboree Rd. From Jamboree Rd, head north until you reach Santiago Canyon Rd. Walk east on Santiago Canyon Rd then turn right onto Black Star Canyon Rd. Continue walking until you reach the Black Star Canyon Falls Trailhead.
