Once you arrive at the San Juan Capistrano station, exit the train and transfer to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Bus #191 towards Dana Point. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Golden Lantern & Pacific Coast Highway. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching at 34675 Golden Lantern.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Irvine, such as Jax Bicycle Center located at 1231 E. Dyer Rd, Suite 215, Irvine, CA 92618. Head west on Barranca Parkway, then take the bike path along the San Diego Creek Trail towards the coast. Follow the trail until you reach Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn right on PCH and continue until you reach Golden Lantern in Dana Point. The total bike ride is approximately 10 miles and should take about an hour, depending on your pace.
