Walking
If you are starting from Cannery Row, head east on Cannery Row towards David Avenue. Continue straight onto the bike path along the coast until you reach the intersection with Del Monte Avenue. Turn left onto Del Monte Avenue and walk approximately 0.5 miles. At the next major intersection, turn right onto Corporal Ewing Road. The Presidio of Monterey Museum will be on your left after a short walk.

From the Monterey Transit Plaza, take the Line 1 bus towards Carmel. Get off at the stop at Del Monte Avenue and Corporal Ewing Road. Walk approximately 0.2 miles north on Corporal Ewing Road, and you will reach the Presidio of Monterey Museum on your right.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail. Head towards the intersection with Del Monte Avenue. Turn onto Del Monte Avenue heading towards the northwest. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Corporal Ewing Road. The museum will be on your left after a short ride.
