    From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head east on Ocean Avenue towards the ocean. Continue straight until you reach San Carlos Street. Turn left onto San Carlos Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with 9th Avenue. Turn right onto 9th Avenue and continue until you reach the end of the road, where you will find the beach area. Walk past the beach access point, and San Carlos Beach Park will be on your left at 100 Reeside Ave, Monterey, CA 93940.

    If you have access to a bike, start from the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea and head towards Ocean Avenue. Follow the same path as walking by cycling east on Ocean Avenue until you reach San Carlos Street. Turn left onto San Carlos Street and then right onto 9th Avenue. Continue biking straight until you reach the beach area. The park will be on your left after you pass through the beach access point.
