From Old Fisherman's Wharf, head east along the waterfront pathway towards Custom House Plaza. Follow the signs for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, as the Sea Lions are located nearby. Continue walking until you reach the end of the wharf. You will see Custom House Plaza ahead. The Monterey Sea Lions are located at 1 Custom House Plaza, just steps away from the waterfront.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the scenic bike path that runs along the coast. Start from Old Fisherman's Wharf and head south along the bike path towards Custom House Plaza. It’s a short ride of about 0.5 miles, which should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Once you reach Custom House Plaza, you will find the Sea Lions right by the waterfront.

Public Transportation (Bus)
While the Sea Lions are very close to Old Fisherman's Wharf and walking is the best option, you can take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus if needed. Locate the nearest bus stop on Alvarado Street, just a couple of blocks from the Wharf. Take the MST Route 1 towards the Monterey Transit Plaza. Get off at the Custom House Plaza stop, and you will find the Sea Lions just a short walk away.
