    From Old Fisherman's Wharf, head east along the waterfront towards the Custom House Plaza. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street, and then immediately turn right onto Custom House Plaza. Monterey State Historic Park will be on your left at 20 Custom House Plaza, just a short walk of approximately 10-15 minutes.

    If you prefer to take public transportation, you can walk to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Del Monte Avenue and Alvarado Street, which is about a 5-minute walk from Old Fisherman's Wharf. Catch the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus line #1 or #2, both of which stop at Custom House Plaza. The fare is approximately $2.00 for a one-way trip.
