Walking

Start at the intersection of Grant Ave and Washington St in Chinatown. Head east on Washington St for about 0.3 miles until you reach 14th St. Turn left onto 14th St and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will pass by the Oakland City Center on your left. Continue straight until you reach Lakeside Dr. Turn right onto Lakeside Dr and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. The Camron-Stanford House will be on your left at 1418 Lakeside Dr. Look for the historical building with a sign indicating its name.
Public Transit

From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop at 8th St and Broadway. Take the AC Transit Bus Line 1 towards the 'Bayshore' direction. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop at 14th St & Lakeside Dr. From there, walk east on Lakeside Dr for about 0.1 miles. The Camron-Stanford House will be on your right at 1418 Lakeside Dr. Note that a one-way bus fare is around $2.50.
