If you are in the heart of Downtown Oakland, start at the intersection of Broadway and 14th Street. Head east on 14th Street for about 0.3 miles (5-7 minutes on foot). As you walk, you will pass by various shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 12th Street. Turn left onto 12th Street and walk for another two blocks. After crossing 12th Street, look for the entrance to Preservation Park on your right at 1233 Preservation Park Way. The park is a beautiful green space, perfect for a leisurely stroll or relaxation.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For those who prefer public transportation, catch the AC Transit bus 1 or 11 from any downtown bus stop heading towards the direction of the East Bay. Get off at the stop on 12th Street near Franklin. From there, it’s just a short walk to Preservation Park. Head east on 12th Street, and turn right onto Preservation Park Way. The park entrance will be on your left at 1233 Preservation Park Way. The bus fare is approximately $2.50 for a one-way trip.
