From the Pismo Beach Pier, head south on the boardwalk. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the end of the boardwalk. At this point, you will want to continue onto the sandy beach, walking south for about 0.5 miles. As you walk, enjoy the ocean views and the sound of the waves. After you reach the end of the beach, look for the path that leads to Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1).

Once you reach Pacific Coast Highway, turn right (heading south) and walk approximately 0.3 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for a small sign indicating the entrance to the John Price House, which is located on the right side of the highway. The house itself is set back from the road, so look for the driveway that leads up to it.

Biking
If you prefer to bike, start at the Pismo Beach Pier and head south on the Coastal Trail. Follow the trail along the beach, which will eventually lead you to Pacific Coast Highway. When you reach the highway, turn right and bike approximately 0.3 miles to the John Price House entrance. Make sure to watch for traffic as you navigate this section.
