Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from any location within Redwood National and State Parks, head towards CA-101 S. Once on CA-101 S, continue until you reach the exit for I-580 E towards Oakland. Merge onto I-580 E and follow the signs for CA-13 N. Take the exit for Redwood Road and merge onto Redwood Rd. Continue on Redwood Rd for approximately 3 miles, and you will arrive at the Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park Redwood Gate located at 7867 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619. Parking is available at the entrance, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park via public transportation, take a bus to the nearest BART station, which is the Coliseum Station. From there, transfer to the bus line that goes towards Oakland. You can take the AC Transit Bus Line 54 towards the Redwood Road area. Get off at the stop closest to Redwood Rd. You will then need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the park entrance at 7867 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for any service changes.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can bike to Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. Use the same route as if you were driving, but take note of bike paths and lanes along Redwood Rd. Ensure your bike is in good condition and wear a helmet for safety. There are bike racks available at the entrance. This option allows for a scenic ride through the area, but be prepared for some inclines along the way.
