Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From downtown Palo Alto, walk to the Palo Alto Caltrain station located at 95 University Avenue. Take the northbound Caltrain towards San Francisco. Alight at the Santa Cruz Station. From there, you can take the 17 bus towards Santa Cruz and get off at the 'Aptos Village' stop. From the bus stop, head south on Soquel Drive for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State Park Drive. Turn left onto State Park Drive and continue for another mile until you reach the beach where SS Palo Alto is located.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Palo Alto. Head south on Alma Street, then turn left on E Meadow Drive. Follow the bike path which leads you towards the Baylands. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection with Highway 1.
