From Campbell, walk to the nearest bus stop on E Campbell Ave & S San Tomas Expressway. Board the 23 bus towards Santa Cruz and ride it until you reach the Santa Cruz Transit Center. From the Transit Center, transfer to the 71 bus towards Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Get off at the Beach Boardwalk stop, which is a short walk to the entrance at 400 Beach St.

If you're comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Campbell. Start by heading west on E Campbell Ave, then turn left onto Los Gatos Creek Trail. Follow the trail to Vasona Lake County Park, then continue along the creek until you reach the intersection with the Santa Cruz River. Follow the bike lanes towards the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where you'll arrive at 400 Beach St.

For a scenic walk, start from downtown Campbell and head south on Campbell Ave. Continue walking until you reach S San Tomas Expressway. Cross the highway and keep walking straight until you reach the bus stop for the 23 bus towards Santa Cruz. Alternatively, you can walk to the Campbell Park area, then follow the Los Gatos Creek Trail towards Santa Cruz. This route is longer but offers beautiful views.
