    From downtown Monterey, take MST bus lines 17, 18, 20 or 61. Get off at the 'Beach/Walmart' stop. Walk west on Del Monte Avenue, then turn right onto Casa Verde Avenue. Follow Surf Way to Tide Avenue for beach access. A single ride on MST costs approximately $2.

    From Cannery Row, a taxi or ride-share to Del Monte Beach will take approximately 5-10 minutes. The typical cost for a short trip is between $10-$15. Ask your driver to take you to the intersection of Surf Way and Tide Avenue for closest access to the beach.
