Walking
If you are at Pier 39, head west toward Beach Street. Walk along Beach Street for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10 minutes). You will pass by some shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Polk Street. Umbrella Alley will be on your left at 757 Beach St. Look for the vibrant umbrellas above the alley.

Public Transportation (Muni)
From Fisherman's Wharf, you can take the Muni bus line 30 or 47. Head to the nearest bus stop on Beach Street. Board the bus and ride for 2 stops, getting off at the corner of Beach St and Polk St. Walk back to the west along Beach Street, and you'll find Umbrella Alley at 757 Beach St. The bus fare is $3.00 and can be paid with a Clipper card or cash.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the nearby bike rental shops at Fisherman's Wharf. Once you have your bike, head west along the waterfront path.
