If you are starting from downtown San Mateo, walk to the San Mateo Caltrain Station located at 2nd Avenue and San Mateo Drive. Take the Caltrain heading south towards San Jose. Get off at the Hillsdale Station. From Hillsdale Station, exit the station and walk to Hillsdale Boulevard. Catch the SamTrans bus 250 towards San Francisco or bus 292 towards Redwood City. Disembark at the stop for Seal Street. From there, it is just a short 5-minute walk to Parkside Aquatic Park, located at 1595 Seal St. Follow Seal Street until you reach the park entrance.

If you have a bicycle, you can ride from downtown San Mateo to Parkside Aquatic Park. Start on 2nd Avenue, then head east toward El Camino Real. Turn left onto El Camino Real and continue straight until you reach Hillsdale Boulevard. Turn right on Hillsdale Boulevard and then take a left onto Seal Street. Follow Seal Street until you reach Parkside Aquatic Park, which will be on your right. The total distance is approximately 2.5 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.

For those who prefer walking, start from downtown San Mateo and head north on 2nd Avenue towards San Mateo Drive. Turn right onto San Mateo Drive and continue until you reach El Camino Real. Cross El Camino Real and continue straight onto Hillsdale Boulevard. After about a mile, turn left onto Seal Street. Walk straight down Seal Street, and you will reach Parkside Aquatic Park at 1595 Seal St. This route is about 1.5 miles long and should take roughly 30 minutes.
