Walking
From the intersection of State St and Montecito St, head east on Montecito St for approximately 0.2 miles. Visit Santa Barbara will be on your right, at 500 E Montecito St. This is an easy walk through downtown Santa Barbara.
Public Transport
Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) buses serve the downtown area. Check the MTD website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules to the visitor center. A single ride fare is $1.75.
Taxi/Ride-share
Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Santa Barbara. A short ride from the Santa Barbara Amtrak Station to Visit Santa Barbara will typically cost between $8 and $15, depending on demand and traffic.
Driving
From Highway 101, exit onto E Montecito St heading east. The visitor center is located at 500 E Montecito St. Metered street parking is available, with rates of $0.75 per 15 minutes. Alternatively, downtown parking lots offer the first 75 minutes free, with hourly rates of $2.50 thereafter.
