Driving
Amphitheater Point is located on the Generals Highway (Highway 198) between the Hospital Rock Picnic Area and the Giant Forest Museum in Sequoia National Park. From the Ash Mountain entrance, drive north on Generals Highway for about 13 miles. The viewpoint will be on your right, but use caution when pulling over as there are no designated parking spots. From the Giant Forest Museum, head south on Generals Highway for about 16 minutes (8.5 miles). The viewpoint will be on your left.

Shuttle
During the summer, the Sequoia Shuttle offers free rides between Giant Forest and Lodgepole. From either location, you can walk along the Generals Highway to reach Amphitheater Point. This is not recommended due to the lack of sidewalks and potentially dangerous traffic conditions. The shuttle is free, but park entrance fees still apply ($35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass).
