From most points in Virginia City's historic downtown, the Virginia & Truckee Railroad depot is easily accessible on foot. Head east or downhill towards F Street, where the depot is located near the intersection of F Street and Washington Street, a short walk south of St. Mary's in the Mountains Catholic Church. Allow 5-15 minutes depending on your starting point. Note that Virginia City's streets can be steep.
