If you're starting from Las Vegas, take I-15 N towards Salt Lake City. After about 60 miles, take exit 64 for US-93 N. Continue on US-93 N for approximately 80 miles until you reach I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and drive for about 20 miles. Take exit 28 for NV-439 N towards Virginia City. Follow NV-439 N for about 12 miles, then turn left onto NV-341 N. Continue for 6 miles until you reach Virginia City. The Virginia City Historic District is located at 39 S C St, Virginia City, NV 89440. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of any fees or time limits.

From Las Vegas, you can take a Greyhound bus to Reno. Once in Reno, transfer to the RTC (Reno's public transit system) bus service that goes to Virginia City. The bus ride from Reno to Virginia City takes about 45 minutes and costs around $3.50. Make sure to check the RTC schedule in advance, as bus services may vary by day and time. Once you arrive in Virginia City, the Historic District is within walking distance from the bus stop.
