Getting There

  • Public Transit - BART and Muni

    From Walnut Creek, take the BART train from the Walnut Creek station towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. Transfer to the Muni T line (light rail) towards Sunnydale. Ride for 3 stops and get off at the Embarcadero Station. Walk to the Ferry Building Marketplace and catch the F Market streetcar towards Fisherman's Wharf. Ride for 6 stops and get off at the 'Beach and Hyde' stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park located at Fort Mason.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From Walnut Creek, take County Connection Bus Route 5 towards the Pleasant Hill BART station. Ride for about 25 minutes and transfer to BART at Pleasant Hill. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Montgomery St. station. From Montgomery St., transfer to Muni Bus 47 towards the Bayview-Hunters Point. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Fort Mason'. You will find the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park a short walk from the bus stop.
