From Kamloops, take Highway 1 until you reach the junction with Highway 97. Head north on Highway 97 until you reach the city of Prince George. In Prince George, take Highway 16 west towards the coast, then continue on Highway 16 until you reach the town of Kitimat. From Kitimat, you will need to take a ferry from the terminal to reach the island. Fares for the ferry vary, so check the current rates prior to your trip.
