If you are driving, start from St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador. Take the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1) westbound. Continue for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the exit for Route 70 South towards Carbonear. Follow Route 70 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and continue for about 14 kilometers until you reach Winterton. The Wooden Boat Museum is located at 273 Main Rd, Winterton, NL A0B 3M0, on your right-hand side. There are no tolls on this route.
