For those using public transportation, take a bus from major Northern Ontario cities to Gravenhurst. Once in Gravenhurst, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Torrance Barrens. The distance from the bus station in Gravenhurst to the preserve is about 9 km. Taxis may be available, but it's advisable to contact them in advance to ensure availability. Expect a fare around CAD 15-25 for the taxi ride.
