If you're traveling by car, head south on Prince of Wales Drive from downtown Ottawa. Continue straight for about 10 km. You will pass through the picturesque neighborhoods of Nepean. Keep an eye out for signage indicating 'Rideau Canal' as you approach the Black Rapids Lockstation. The destination will be on your right at 2453 Prince of Wales Drive. There is parking available at the lockstation.

For public transportation, take OC Transpo bus route 67 from downtown Ottawa towards Barrhaven. Get off at the 'Prince of Wales & Black Rapids' bus stop, which is about a 15-minute walk from the lockstation. From the bus stop, head south on Prince of Wales Drive for approximately 1.5 km until you reach 2453 Prince of Wales Drive. Be sure to check the OC Transpo schedule for bus timings and fares, which generally cost around CAD 3.75 for a single adult fare.

If you're feeling adventurous and prefer cycling, you can bike from downtown Ottawa. Follow the Rideau Canal pathway south until you reach the area near Black Rapids. The ride is approximately 12 km and offers beautiful views along the canal. Once you reach the vicinity of 2453 Prince of Wales Drive, you will find the lockstation on your right. Ensure you have a bike lock for security.
