Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old Quebec area, head east on Rue Sainte-Anne until you reach Rue de la Couronne. Turn left and continue on Rue de la Couronne until you reach Grande Allée E. Turn right onto Grande Allée E and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will see the Plaines d'Abraham park on your left. Continue walking until you reach the Croix du sacrifice, a prominent war memorial located within the park.

    From the Old Port area, take the bus number 800 or 801 from the closest stop (Laurier or Place d'Youville) towards the Montmorency Falls. Get off at the 'Gare du Palais' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 11 in the direction of Montmorency Falls and get off at the 'Battlefields Park' stop. Walk straight into the park, and you will find the Croix du sacrifice located within the Plaines d'Abraham.
