If you are starting from Old Quebec, head south on Rue Sainte-Anne towards Place d'Armes. Continue straight until you reach Rue Saint-Louis. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Louis and follow it until you reach Rue de la Couronne. Turn right onto Rue de la Couronne and continue straight until you see the Monument François-Xavier Garneau on your left, located in the park area.

From the Gare du Palais station, take bus #1 (Direction: Montcalm) or bus #11 (Direction: Cap-Rouge) and get off at the stop 'Avenue Honoré-Mercier'. From there, walk south on Avenue Honoré-Mercier and then turn left onto Rue de la Couronne. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Monument François-Xavier Garneau on your left side.

Starting at the Citadel of Quebec, head down the hill towards Rue des Carrières. Turn left onto Rue des Carrières and continue until you reach Rue Saint-Jean. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Jean and follow it until you reach Rue de la Couronne. Turn left onto Rue de la Couronne, and after a short walk, the Monument François-Xavier Garneau will be on your right.
