Walking
If you are starting from the Old Port area, head northeast on Rue de la Commune E toward Rue Saint-Paul. Continue straight onto Rue Saint-Pierre. Turn left onto Rue de l'Esplanade and walk until you reach Place d'Armes. From there, continue straight onto Rue Sainte-Anne, then take a right onto Rue D'Auteuil. The Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site will be on your left at 2 Rue D'Auteuil.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Place Royale, walk to the nearby bus stop at 3e Avenue. Take Bus #11 toward Montmorency Falls. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the D'Auteuil stop. Walk back a short distance on Rue D'Auteuil, and the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site will be on your right.

Start at the Château Frontenac. Head southwest on Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville, then turn left onto Rue Saint-Louis. Continue on Rue Saint-Louis until you reach Rue D'Auteuil. Turn right onto Rue D'Auteuil, and you will find the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site at 2 Rue D'Auteuil.
