Car
If you are driving from Punta Arenas, take Route 9 north towards Puerto Natales. The drive is approximately 250 kilometers and will take around 3 hours. Once you arrive in Puerto Natales, continue on Route 9 until you reach the entrance of Torres del Paine National Park. Follow the signs for 'Torres del Paine' and enter the park. Sarmiento Lake is located within the park, and you will find designated parking areas nearby. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately 25,000 CLP (Chilean Pesos) for adults.

Bus
From Punta Arenas, take a bus to Puerto Natales. Several bus companies operate this route, including Bus-Sur and Transp. Fernández. The journey takes about 3-4 hours and costs around 10,000 CLP. Once in Puerto Natales, you can take another bus that goes directly to Torres del Paine National Park. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 7,000 CLP. Upon arrival at the park, you can either rent a car or take a taxi to reach Sarmiento Lake, which is about a 30-minute drive from the park entrance.
