Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in the town center of Guatapé, the Community Historical Museum is easily accessible on foot. Start at the main square (Plaza de Guatapé), which is a popular area with shops and restaurants. From the square, head east on Calle 30 until you reach the intersection with Carrera 29. Turn left onto Carrera 29 and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The museum will be on your right at 'a 29-75, Cl. 29 #29-1'.

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, locate your position in Guatapé and set your GPS to the address 'a 29-75, Cl. 29 #29-1'. From the main square, take Calle 30 and then turn left onto Carrera 29. Follow the road for about 1 kilometer; the museum will be on your right. Parking may be limited in the area, so look for available spots along the street or nearby.

  While Guatapé is a small town and walking is usually the best option, you can also take a local bus or taxi if you prefer not to walk.
