Walking
From the central square (Plaza de Caldas) in Popayán, head south on Calle 5. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrera 6. Turn left onto Carrera 6 and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the main bus terminal (Terminal de Transportes). At the terminal, look for the buses heading to La Plata. Purchase a ticket to La Plata, which should take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at La Plata, ask locals for directions to the Mirador avistamiento del CONDOR, which is located along the Popayán-La Plata road. It is about a 30-minute walk from the bus terminal. Follow the road, and you will see signs directing you to the observation deck.

Start at the Plaza de Caldas in Popayán and make your way to the Terminal de Transportes. Here, board a bus going to La Plata. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in La Plata, you can either take a taxi or ask for a local bus that travels towards the Puracé National Park area, where the Mirador avistamiento del CONDOR is located. If taking a taxi, inform the driver of your destination. The taxi ride from La Plata to the Mirador should take around 30 minutes.
