Getting There

  • Walking

    From the El Zaino entrance, the main access point to Parque Tayrona, follow the well-marked trail towards Arrecifes. The Mirador is located along this path, approximately 1.5 hours from the entrance. The trail is moderately challenging with some uphill sections. Once you pass Canaveral Beach, continue along the path, and you'll soon reach the Mirador Parque Tayrona. There is a shuttle available from the El Zaino entrance to further into the park for approximately 5,000 COP. This will shorten the walking distance to the mirador.

    Take a bus from Santa Marta to Parque Tayrona. Buses leave regularly from the transport terminal or the public market on Carrera 9. The cost is approximately 12,000 COP. Ask the driver to drop you off at the El Zaino entrance. From the entrance, follow the walking directions to reach the Mirador Parque Tayrona.
