Car
From Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, head east on South Rim Road toward East Portal Road. Continue on South Rim Road until you reach the junction with Highway 92. Turn left onto Highway 92 and follow it for approximately 15 miles. This road will take you through scenic areas alongside the Gunnison River. After about 15 miles, watch for signs indicating the turn-off for Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area. Turn left onto County Road 38 and follow the road to the entrance of the park. There is no entrance fee for the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area.

Currently, there are no direct public transportation options from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park to Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area. However, you can take a public bus or shuttle service from the park to the nearest town, which is Gunnison. From Gunnison, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Gunnison Gorge.
