Public Bus
Begin at the Colorado Springs City Hall, located at 107 N. Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Take the 'Mountain Metro Transit' bus number 1 towards 'Pikes Peak Ave & Tejon St.'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Pikes Peak Ave & Cascade Ave' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 4 towards 'Briargate' and ride for another 25 minutes until you reach the 'Woodmen Rd & Academy Blvd' stop. At this point, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles south along Academy Blvd, merging onto Turkey Canon Ranch Rd. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the Aiken Canyon Preserve entrance at 3350 Turkey Canon Ranch Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926.

Start your journey from downtown Colorado Springs. Head south on Nevada Ave and continue until you reach the intersection with Colorado Ave. Turn right onto Colorado Ave and head west until you reach 31st St. Turn left onto 31st St and continue south. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Turkey Canon Ranch Rd. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at the Aiken Canyon Preserve entrance located at 3350 Turkey Canon Ranch Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926. The route is bike-friendly, and you’ll enjoy the scenic views along the way.

If you are starting from the Colorado Springs downtown area, walk south on Nevada Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with Colorado Ave. Turn right onto Colorado Ave and head west. Follow Colorado Ave until it merges into 31st St. Once on 31st St, continue walking south for approximately 2 miles. When you reach the intersection with Turkey Canon Ranch Rd, turn right. The Aiken Canyon Preserve will be approximately 2 miles down the road on your right at 3350 Turkey Canon Ranch Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926. This walk will take you through some lovely neighborhoods and parks.
