Begin at the Colorado Springs City Hall, located at 107 N. Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Take the 'Mountain Metro Transit' bus number 1 towards 'Pikes Peak Ave & Tejon St.'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Pikes Peak Ave & Cascade Ave' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 4 towards 'Briargate' and ride for another 25 minutes until you reach the 'Woodmen Rd & Academy Blvd' stop. At this point, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles south along Academy Blvd, merging onto Turkey Canon Ranch Rd. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the Aiken Canyon Preserve entrance at 3350 Turkey Canon Ranch Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926.

If you are starting from the Colorado Springs downtown area, walk south on Nevada Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with Colorado Ave. Turn right onto Colorado Ave and head west.
