Start at the Colorado Springs City Hall located at 107 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) Route 1 (the 'North Nevada Avenue' line) towards the South Nevada Avenue Transfer Station. Ride the bus until you reach the South Nevada Avenue Transfer Station. From there, transfer to Route 5 (the 'Fountain' line). Stay on Route 5 until you reach the stop at Old Pueblo Road and Fountain Blvd. After disembarking, walk southeast on Old Pueblo Road for about half a mile. You will find the Wilson Farmstead State Historical Sears Home at 11190 Old Pueblo Rd, Fountain, CO 80817.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Colorado Springs. Start your journey at the Colorado Springs City Hall.
