Getting There

    From Interstate 25, take Exit 141 and head west on Highway 24 for approximately six miles. The entrance to Cave of the Winds Mountain Park will be on the right, just past the billboard. Follow the winding road up to the parking lot. Parking is free. RV drivers should park at the bottom of the hill by the arch sign and call 719-550-5060 for a shuttle. Note that the road to the cave is a two-lane mountain road with a 12% grade and hairpin turns; buses should call 719-550-5060 or 719-685-5444 ext. 6 fifteen minutes before arrival.

  • Public Transport

    From the main bus terminal in Colorado Springs, take the Mountain Metropolitan Transit Route 3 bus towards Manitou Springs. Get off at the 10 Old Mans Trail stop. From there, it is about a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Cave of the Winds. A one-way bus fare is $2.
