    From downtown Durango, head north on Main Avenue. Turn right (east) onto 32nd Street, then left (north) onto E. 2nd Avenue. Animas City Park will be on the right. The walk is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Main Avenue Trolley from the Durango Transit Center to the Main Ave & 30th St stop. From there, walk east on 30th street, then north on 2nd Ave to reach the park. The trolley runs every 20 minutes. As of June 1, 2025, Durango Transit fixed-route services are free through August 31.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    From downtown Durango, a taxi or ride-share to Animas City Park will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Expect to pay around $15-$20 for a one-way trip.
