The marina provides access to a range of water activities, including boating, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. Visitors can rent various watercraft, from single-person kayaks to pontoon boats that accommodate up to 10 people. Lake Estes was created in 1949 with the completion of the Olympus Dam on the Big Thompson River. Picnic areas are available around the lake, making it ideal for a relaxing day with family and friends. The marina store sells snacks, drinks, fishing gear and licenses.
