Getting There

Walking

From Civic Center Park, walk south along Bannock Street towards W 14th Avenue Parkway. The Denver Art Museum will be on your left, spanning between Bannock Street and Broadway. You can enter through either the Hamilton Building or the Martin Building. No costs are associated with this final approach.
Public Transport

Take any RTD bus or light rail line that stops near Civic Center Station. From there, walk south along Bannock Street to W 14th Avenue Parkway. The museum is located a short walk from the station. A standard 3-hour pass costs $2.75.

The Denver Art Museum (DAM), an iconic landmark in Denver's Golden Triangle neighborhood, has been a cultural cornerstone since its founding as the Denver Artists' Club in 1893. Today, it ranks among the largest art museums between Chicago and the West Coast, boasting a global collection of over 70,000 works representing cultures from around the world.The museum's campus comprises two architecturally significant buildings: the Martin Building (formerly the North Building) designed by Italian modernist Gio Ponti, and the Frederic C. Hamilton Building, designed by Daniel Libeskind. The Martin Building, which opened in 1971, is Ponti's only completed structure in North America, featuring a unique castle-like facade covered in over a million reflective glass tiles.
