Walking
If you are starting from downtown Glenwood Springs, head north on Grand Avenue (US-6) until you reach 7th Street. Turn left onto 7th Street, and continue until you reach the intersection with Midland Avenue. Turn right onto Midland Avenue. Follow Midland Avenue as it curves and becomes Transfer Trail. Continue walking on Transfer Trail for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Glenwood Springs Overlook as you approach the trailhead. The overlook is located at the end of the trail.

From downtown Glenwood Springs, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rentals. Start your ride heading north on Grand Avenue (US-6). At 7th Street, turn left and continue to Midland Avenue.
