Experience Adventure at Montrose Water Sports Park

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Montrose, head south on S Colorado Ave (US-550) for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Main St. Turn left on E Main St and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will then take a right onto S 12th St and continue for about 0.4 miles until you reach Apollo Rd. Turn left onto Apollo Rd, and you will find Montrose Water Sports Park on your right at 210 Apollo Rd.

• Biking

  For a more scenic route, start from the Montrose Riverwalk, located near the intersection of S Rio Grande Ave and E Main St. Follow the Riverwalk north along the Uncompahgre River for about 1 mile until you reach the bridge by the Montrose Recreation Center. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path which will lead you directly to Apollo Rd. Once you reach Apollo Rd, turn left, and Montrose Water Sports Park will be on your right.

  Check the local Montrose public transit schedule for any available bus services that may have a stop near Montrose Water Sports Park. If a bus route is available, board the bus and request to stop at the nearest stop to 210 Apollo Rd. From the bus stop, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the park.
