If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can start your journey at the Montrose City Park. Head south on S Townsend Ave (Highway 50) and follow it until you reach the intersection with CO-347. Turn right onto CO-347 and continue for about 18 miles. The ride will take you through scenic views, and you will eventually reach the entrance of Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area. Make sure to carry plenty of water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the route.
