If you are starting from Grand Junction, take I-70 East from Grand Junction. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 37 toward CO-65/Cedaredge. Merge onto CO-65 and follow the signs for the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway. The entrance to the byway is about 12 miles from Grand Junction.

From Montrose, head northeast on US-50 E. After about 20 miles, turn right onto CO-65 N, following the signs for the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway. Continue on CO-65 for about 25 miles until you reach the scenic byway entrance.
